Which is Better for Tax Write-offs: LLC or Sole Proprietorship?

Let’s dive into why an LLC is generally more beneficial for tax write-offs than a sole proprietorship.

    Why Choose an LLC?
    Liability Protection: Safeguard your assets.
Tax Flexibility: Benefit from options like S Corp election.
Business Credibility: Enhance your branding and build business credit.

Both structures allow you to deduct business expenses, but LLC offers extra perks that can significantly boost your tax strategy and overall business growth.

5 Things your Kids can Do to LOWER your INCOME TAXES

5 Things your Kids can Do to LOWER your INCOME TAXES

As a business owner, you can lower your income taxes by employing your minor children. Here are 5 practical ways to integrate your kids into your business:

    1. Wash Company Vehicles: Instead of paying for a car service, hire your kids to clean your business vehicles inside and out. This will teach them the value of hard work and save you money.

    2. Clean the Office: Have your children take on tasks like taking out the trash, wiping down surfaces, and even shampooing carpets quarterly. Even if you have a cleaning crew, more must be done.

    3. Social Media Assistance: Get your kids involved in your social media strategy. They can compile stats, create thumbnails, and research topics, helping you maintain a strong online presence.

    4. NIL Deals: Use your children’s name, image, and likeness in your marketing materials. Featuring them on your website and social media can be effective and legal.

    5. Transcribing Content: Older kids can transcribe your videos and other content. This adds valuable text to your website, boosting your SEO and making your content more accessible.

Before implementing these strategies, consult with a tax professional to ensure compliance. Done correctly, employing your kids can be a win-win for your family and your business.

Short and sweet

I am a freelance paralegal and licensed REALTOR. I wasn’t sure I’d like your short podcast as I prefer to listen to useful information while running. But your personality and ability to deliver rich content in under 10 minutes caught me off guard. Looking forward to following your podcast.

Useful Content, but….

I just found this podcast last week. I really enjoy the content, but the constant sound of him taking a drink into the microphone is to the point I may have to stop listening. Grant it I’ve started listening back from the beginning of the show. Hopefully that part gets better. Other then that, the content is good and it’s the perfect length.

I’m jumping next month!

I knew I wanted to go solo back in law school as a 1L. I own books on hanging a shingle, books on sales, marketing, SEO, etc. I took a class on law practice management in law school. I have past outside and inside sales experience. I half-heartedly opened a locksmith business during law school for the experience of opening a business. I did that so I’d know what needs to be done when I fling the shingle. Here is my point: I have read and/or experienced a lot, and this podcast has it all.

I strongly urge anyone interested in opening a practice to dig into this podcast because it really has it all. You can scroll through the episodes and find what YOU need. Not only that, but Chris is a calming personality, so he gets you to think about the issues of law practice while simultaneously reducing the fear of actually doing it. He’s undercover hilarious and very encouraging. Chris gave me the courage to go solo. He makes you feel like you can do it (and do it well).

I’ll be listening to these for as long as new content becomes available, and I’ll update this review in a couple/few months. Thanks Chris for the free content.

Wish me luck!
