Join Dr. Christopher Perrin for lively explorations of the marvelous, traditional idea of schole and why it's the very heart of school. We may not all be able to gather in an actual coffee shop (you know, one with large wooden tables and bookshelves and delicious espresso), but we can do our best to talk about the kinds of things we'd talk about if we could!

Wish there were more

Wonderful programs if you’re interested in classical education or even just self enrichment. Only 15 episodes and then it abruptly stops. Last episode listed is from August 2021. Wish there were more.

Very formative

I am so thankful to you Dr. Perrin (and the Circe podcast network) for this podcast. As a homeschool, we are prone to be Martha’s - checking all the boxes and striving all the day to “get it done.” Your episode on Scholé in the scriptures was very convicting and encouraging. My prayer is that my children will behold the Son of God, Creator of all things; breathe in His beauty, and ultimately enter His rest.
