Fantastic podcast on Zen Buddhism - Genjo is an incredible teacher
A must-listen- really fantastic podcast that rivals Tricycle. The Dharma Talks and teachings are something I can apply on a day to day basis.
Making Zen Relevant
This podcast is excellent. Genjo is a gifted speaker and his dharma talks always strike me as raw, relevant, and from the heart. He provides clear insights and contexts that make Zen stories and Zen practice more down to earth and accessible. Genjo’s background as a psychotherapist allows him to blend discourses on Zen practice with insights about the psychological experiences that are encountered through practice and in attempting to bring the spirit of practice into everyday life. These talks leave me feeling grounded and have helped me deepen my understanding of Zen and life.
A deeper approach to teaching Zen
With so many Zen podcasts all of which teach the same simple cliches, it’s so refreshing to find a teacher who goes deeper in both the background of the koans and how these teachings appear in our lives. These recordings can be listened to many times, each time learning something deeper and even more profound. Just wonderful.
