All in all it’s a quality listen. In Season 4 Episode 14 there is reference to local SD Mom and Pop pizza place with best pizza in ca. I’d be shocked if it isn’t referring to Bronx Pizza at 111 Washington St, San Diego, CA 92103 I am an ex patriot NY PIZZA snob. This pizza IS NY pizza!!
The ads destroy an amazing show

And there’s not an option to get rid of them?? Seriously, man? A gushing ad for toothpaste in the middle of a horror podcast is the way you want to present something great that you’ve poured so much effort and passion into? Why can’t I pay you to not have ads!?

You know what really wrecks the dramatic tension in your show? Getting interrupted mid-sentence by some cheery stranger selling dubious health products. It was one thing to put ads before/after the show, but interrupting a 20-minute episode twice for ad content makes it pretty unlistenable.

I know sometimes there’s not much choice in sponsors, but as soon as I heard a “Better Health” ad, I turned it off. All credibility lost & won’t even grace it with a listen if that’s the kind of sponsors they bring on.
