The Christ Up Podcast seeks to help young people grow in their faith and build a relationship with God outside of the rigidity of religion. The podcast, hosted by Thulee and Lethu, will delve into themes about living a Christian lifestyle and how to navigate your journey as a young believer. We want to provide a platform to learn more about the Christian faith. The goal for this podcast is not to incite debate, but rather to proclaim that Jesus is the Way and to glorify His name - hence the name “Christ Up”.

    Growing Pains: Navigating Friendships in Adulthood

    In this episode, Thulee, Lethu, Njabulo and Ntsika discuss what it means to navigate friendship(s) in adulthood and what that can look like if we look at Jesus as an example of the perfect friend. They say A LOT and delve into toxicity in friendships, setting boundaries and so much more. The verse from the Bible discussed in this episode is Proverbs 27:17 that proclaims: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. We learn from this simple statement that no one is alone. That in order to make yourself better, there is a mutual benefit of making others better through friendship, mentorship, and leading. While in this context, we focus on friendship, this verse means so much more.  Hope it blesses you.
