Christmas Movies Actually

I really use to love this podcast and have been listening to it since late 2020 but over the last year found it hard to stick with. Ive always liked the unique movies they touch on and hosts natural chemistry but I think they forget that these are Christmas movies after all and not everything is going to be It’s A Wonderful Life. When reviewing a Hallmark movie or made for TV movie you should just have fun with it. I’m not saying they have to like every movie but I got tired of the overly harsh reviews and the super long boring additions to the show. If you can’t find anything to talk about for a movie maybe you shouldn’t review it. The random rants and avoiding reviewing a movie you don’t want to talk about is no fun for the listener and I can tell it’s not fun for the hosts either. Also, I listen for the Christmas movies not the blu-ray exchange or whatever other films you want to review. Which reminds me? The show is called Christmas Movies Actually so please stick to the Christmas movies and quit reaching to find a movie to tie into every holiday. I hope the hosts go back to having fun with their reviews but for now, I’m done with the negativity and have unsubscribed.

Hosts have no rapport and shows not funny or very entertaining

100 episodes, so far, about Christmas movies? Had to listen to see for myself. After sampling a baker’s dozen, I think it helps to be a fan of the specific niche they cover. The hosts have a good rapport but I’m not sure if the other segments add a lot. Not to say it needs to be all Christmas but it leans more towards filler in my opinion. Not sure what this show could use to make it better but I just everything outside the initial review of the film being covered. Will stay subscribed with reservations.

I tried to like this but they are just kinda annoying.
