Turns out the religious symbol was put up at the same time that the Boise Police Department was targeting gay men — just for being gay. Hey Boise newsletter editor Blake Hunter is here to take us back to the 1950s for a history lesson that we’ve kind of forgotten — but wasn’t so long ago.
