Letters from an American Heather Cox Richardson

I have listened (previously read) the letters from Heather Cox Richardson for years. I suffer from migraines so switching to a format where she reads them was very helpful for me & my visual issues.

I see some people say that she is too far left and it just confirms our already left-leaning bias; however, she always includes sources. You can look it up for yourself. And if you listen to HCR on other platforms, she encourages you to do your own research and CALL HER ON IT if she’s wrong. I don’t see that on the right, probably because the far right relies on misinformation to get ahead.

Take a listen to her stuff. If she’s wrong, she will happily entertain you. But come with receipts because I promise she can back up what she says.

Two weeks ago a friend told me about Heather and this podcast. I haven’t missed one yet.

Heather brings an important perspective to current events with a very knowledgeable historic lens.

I sorely miss hearing from Heather on any days it isn’t on!

Keeps me informed, grounded, and so effectively puts today’s news in historical context.
