Always a must listen

I’m a very entertained fly on the wall listening to these chaps talk about also sorts of comic related goodness. Even on topics I have no interest in (not a DC Comics reader), they still keep me engaged and entertained as the passion for the material they discuss is evident. Make sure to dig into their archives too, they’ve probably talked about that thing you thought was super cool decades ago. Good stuff - thank you!

Ep 241

The grumpy and griping old man show that was ep 214 turned me off this podcast. Unsubscribing

Still One of the Best After All These Years!

Listening to the geeks is like being part of a conversation about comics with your friends. These guys really appreciate each other’s points of view, and strive to provide the audience with a variety of listening experiences: character spotlights, movie and TV reviews, top 5 lists, trivia competitions, awards shows, and good ol’ fashioned comic talk. As an educator myself, I particular appreciate the level of scholarship Chris & Murd bring to the show. If I have one complaint, it’s that on a recent episode that reviewed Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, someone brought up the introduction of Patton Oswalt’s Pip the Troll and Harry Styles’ Starfox in Volume 2’s post-credit scene. One of the geeks said he was excited to see in which direction they’d take the characters. How did no one capitalize on the opportunity to reply that any character played by Harry Styles can only go in “one direction”?! Low hanging, yet delicious, fruit, fellas! Keep up the fine work of feeding my soul with comics goodness!
