    68. Trade-Offs: Today's sacrifices bring tomorrow's rewards

    68. Trade-Offs: Today's sacrifices bring tomorrow's rewards

    "But I want it now!"
Don't we all?! I'm sure that whatever you're longing for you would love to have it now rather than wait weeks, months or years for.
    It's human nature.
Consider this episode as a reminder for you to have patience and faith in seeking what you want, and gratitude to keep you happy in the now.
Making sacrifices and trade-offs today are part of the recipe to getting what you want in the future - no matter what it is.
    You can do it!
Have a listen for some encouragement.

    67. Shame, Vulnerability, Intimacy & Trust

    67. Shame, Vulnerability, Intimacy & Trust

Brene Brown is the queen of talking about shame and vulnerability. She's researched this and so much more.
She's not a guest on this episode, but Sharla has been inspired by some of her topics and wanted to share her own thoughts on this important work.
As Brene says, we must be vulnerable in order to create intimacy. Vulnerability comes from having courage to share our deepest, darkest wounds and secrets. Courage comes from the heart.
Sharla reflects on all of this in this episode and also shares how meditation helps to live courageously from the heart. 3

    64. Being Nice

    64. Being Nice

What does it mean to you to be a nice person?
Do you wear this compliment with pride as a badge of honour?
As a person who is often called "nice" Sharla has some thoughts about it. A compliment? Sure. It's appreciated.
But as a woman who is 'nice' is it because you don't want to speak out, sharing your real thoughts and opinions? After all, we have been raised that way. To be nice little girls: quiet, don't take up too much space or rock the boat.
Let's re-evaluate being nice. Not suggesting to be nasty or mean, but speak out, take up space.
Step outside of the box we've been put into!
