Leaving No One Behind
This week, Garrett & Drew sat down with Mike G., National Volunteer Coordinator with No One Left Behind, a nonprofit that helps Afghan and Iraqi combat interpreters with Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs) resettle safely in the United States. Together with Alex Sorin, co-founder of Foreigncy, we discussed No One Left Behind's mission and how people with language skills can give back and help others.

Excellent resource!
Full disclosure - I know the folks that are making the podcast. I've known about the project that they've been working on, and I know it's been more than two years in the making. They've done the footwork, and after listening to the podcast, I'm excited to see what else they've got coming down the pike. If you're a student of some of the critical languages like Arabic, Persian, Chinese, or Russian, this has some great resources and tips for language learning, retention, maintenance, etc. I appreciate them putting this out for everyone!
