Captivating

I’ve been binging the story. The sarcasm is priceless. I’m planning on re-listening once I’m done with the lust for the story. I’m anticipating a similar experience as rewatching Back To the Future. Be prepared for plot twists and whiplash. Let the story unfold instead of judging and categorizing it too soon. No, the characters are not plastic and may not be how they first appear. Yes, the profanity is a little gratuitous. It’s also realistic for the circumstances. I’m very close to calling this one “original.”

Always let in a brunett with a pizza.
Profanity equals amateurish writing

I am not easily offended by profanity but in this show it comes across as an amateur attempt at being edgy. It is not used to punctuate dialogue but to just happen all the time. I made it to the episode with the character who is victim of domestic violence pleading with an AI character to not tell on her husband, yes it was as cringe as it sounds. Characters are cliches and live within that single boundary. Decent production value and some worthy voice acting.
Profanity? Really?

Another reviewer commented on profanity; I honestly didn't notice but have been caught up in the story. They may want to listen to Lexicon Valley. John McWhorter has insight into changing language, regardless of how we feel about it. When I like a podcast I scour the surrounding areas for what I may have missed or what accompanies the one I just finished … in this case there's a Steam Punk Actual Play podcast. oh dear. Steam Punk is fine. Actual Play? I have my doubts, but I'll give it a try.
