Cosplaying as an Adult/Parent

We just attended the 2024 NYCC and like last year we dressed up.  

We wanted to take you through our thoughts on cosplaying and expressing ourselves in our costumes as adults and in our case as Parents.   

Cosplaying has been a way for us to display our love for characters in our favorite shows/anime and a way for us not to be just Mom and Dad.  The creative process turning these fictional characters to real life form are extensive and expensive but are so rewarding in the end.  

We try to explain the experience you get cosplaying in a convention compared to an evening out or dressing up for Halloween. Where do we feel more comfortable, and how are we show respect when we are in a vulnerable state when cosplaying?

So think of your favorite character, use your creativity to bring them to life, and enjoy a day out cosplaying with us.
