One of my go to podcasts

I stumbled upon this podcast over a year ago through the true crime grapevine and I think I’ve listened to just about every episode now. The hosts do their research and are careful to be accurate. If they do make a mistake they follow up and correct it on one of the next episodes. I saw a previous review mention there’s a lot of banter in the beginning of the episodes and I don’t find that to be true at all. In fact they seem to start the episode waaaay quicker than most other podcasts I’ve listened to. The hosts are relatable, funny, and the audio is always very good quality. I have no complains and will continue to listen to this probably forever.
True crime go-to!

My partner and I love this podcast and all the time, work, and energy the awesome hosts clearly put into it. Banter, updates, etc. is balanced really nicely with the topic of the episode, and the hosts manage moving from lighter chats into difficult conversations around a case gracefully. I also appreciate that this podcast is a lot more respectful towards victims than others I’ve heard in the way that their identities are honored. On the uncommon occurrence of an error in the info, they’re very quick to acknowledge it and correct themselves. The hosts share a great balance of personalities and time on the pod, and they’re both clearly smart, thoughtful, and genuine. As someone very into true crime, the cases are a mix of crimes I’m very familiar with and crimes I don’t know about. I definitely recommend this podcast and agree with the other positive ratings here! Thanks Kaitlin & Hayley! :)
Not like other true crime pods

I’ve been listening for years and really enjoy it. If you ask me there should be more banter. In fact, make it twice as long with so much banter. ;) But seriously, I like that it’s not a dramatic retelling of events and I think the banter keeps it up beat and helps serve as a pause or break on the heavier episodes. Anti-banter people can go listen to something else.
As They Do

This podcast is very near and dear to me as I found it when I needed it most. I’ve told them how much I love it, but I wanted everyone else to know how much as well. They do extensive research and try their best to get everything right. And when they don’t, they correct themselves. Their banter adds to the whole show, imho, and if you don’t like it, they nor I need you. Thanks for being awesome, as you do, Kaitlin and Hayley.
