How to Run a West Marches Game in Dungeons & Dragons
What is a West Marches Dungeons & Dragons game?
West Marches is the diametric opposite of the normal weekly game:

There was no regular plot: The players decided where to go and what to do. There's no overarching plot, just an overarching environment.

I’m both a DM and a player and they cover some interesting things that help improve both my DMing and how I play my character. Give it a listen!
I literally started listening to this on a whim. I love the Dungeon Dudes and saw that they were on the show. I was fully engaged and amused the whole time and didn’t even realize that I had been listening for 80 minutes! I will be listening to more.
Great and informative
I have never played Dungeons & Dragons but thanks to you guys I know more about it than my friend of almost 20 years and he’s in a DnD group as a fire genasi monk who was booted out of his temple for being to silly.
I love the Tabaxi and that would be my race. Are there any races that resemble Red Pandas or Tanukis? And if I wanted a Barn owl look character would I have to be a Aarakocra? Or is there a specific owl like race?
Please let me know!
