Kelsey Ellis (aka @Healthy_with_Kelsey) is our guest in this episode where we talk about anxiety, disordered eating/exercising, and how she learned to show up and be present in her own body and now creates spaces where others can do the same.
Kelsey (she/her) is an award-winning, body-positive Health and Fitness Expert based in Vancouver, Canada. She is both a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer on a mission to empower individuals to take the shame out of their wellness game through letting go of self judgment, practicing intuitive eating and honouring joyful movement.
Kelsey offers group coaching programs on intuitive eating, helping clients learn how to trust themselves around food again, let go of destructive dieting behaviour and make peace with food and their bodies once and for all. She also teaches body-positive fitness classes both live through her Patreon platform and via her YouTube channel ‘Healthy With Kelsey’.
Her classes center physical movement from a wellness-centered approach and she encourages her audience to move their bodies in a way that feels best for them! You can expect to leave Kelsey’s mood-boosting fitness classes and group coaching programs feeling energized and inspired to love yourself a little bit more!

    Ep. 26

I’ve been feeling a sort of social dilemma (social media, that is) recently and KNOW I’m not alone in it. This episode we talk about the intense draw of social media, and the fear that can come with disconnecting from it, as well as the true core of it that we are actually seeking (spoiler: it’s connection)!
    -
I mentioned Episode 24 where we talk about the fear that no one remembers you unless you make yourself visible/relavant.

Joining us this episode is my nutritionist & friend Meg De Jong. We talk about the importance of self-nourishment and how the changes of life continue regardless of our age or stage.
Meg is a registered holistic nutritionist who specializes in nutrition for anxiety & gut health. She is also an avid gardener, and creator of simple, whole food recipes. Meg works one on one with clients, hosts monthly online workshops, and offers online courses. Visit her website https://megdejongnutrition.com/ to work with her, try out her delicious recipes (like the delectable lemon tahini sauce or nourishing yam hummus toasts), download the FREE Eat to Ease Anxiety Guide and make sure to follow her on Instagram to be the first to know about her upcoming courses (like the one she mentions in this episode) and more!

23 - with guest Lisa Chin

Lisa Chin is our guest this episode! When Lisa isn’t wrangling spreadsheets or her three young kids, she is a writer, coach and podcaster lighting a torch for mothers on a journey of reclaiming themselves. Above all, Lisa values real conversations around motherhood, identity, and self-expression. She believes community, knowing your truths, and art can keep us grounded in and living an inspired life. You can learn more about Lisa and read her daily blogs at https://lisaforreal.com/. You can also listen into conversations about who we are on her podcast, All The Things. Feel free to reach out to her on Instagram @reclaimingmotherhood.
Lisa and I talk about (among many other things) community, ego, and how we integrate our emotions physically and internally!

Ep. 22 - “Small” steps still climb mountains!

Ep. 22 - “Small” steps still climb mountains!

One of my FAVOURITE quotes (it’s even engraved on my iPad) is something I saw Dominic Monaghan (Merry from Lord of the Rings) say: “Baby steps still climb mountains.” As someone that struggles with overwhelm and being wayyyy too harsh on myself, the concept of taking small steps and still gaining momentum is MASSIVE and it’s what we’re talking about this episode!
