    Veterinary professionals are regularly exposed to death and grief, and sometimes it can be hard to know how to care for clients and maintain good self-care during these difficult times. In addition to euthanasia and breaking bad news, providing support to distressed and grieving clients is a primary source of stress for veterinary professionals.
    When done well, however, working in the area of pet loss, and providing support and comfort to those who are bereaved, can be a highly rewarding aspect of the job.
