The Caravaggio Discovery is the best ever

I was enchanted by the interview with Eric Turquin and the story of the discovery of the painting of Judith Beheading Holofernes. M. Turquin was a great subject to interview,in fact,he sent me back to read the story of Judith because of his fascinating retelling . I’m reading up on Caravaggio now. Ben Miller’s podcasts are painlessly educational for anyone who loves art and antiques!!

Fascinating Discussions

I really enjoy the discussion of the various objects. As art is often a visual experience I wasn't sure how this would work but I've really enjoyed Ben Miller's ability to bring out information about the objects being discussed.

Curiously pleasing to the ear...

I love this podcast & eagerly await its release each month. It's fascinating, educational, good humored, and erudite but accessible. Curious Objects offers something for everyone, from casual antiquers to serious collectors / dealers; from history buffs to anyone who enjoys a good story. Host Benjamin Miller manages to highlight interesting aspects of each object and draw out other engrossing material from his guests, like their quirky personal histories or advice on collecting, all in a mere 30-40 min. Therein lies my only complaint, that the episodes are always over too quickly. Make sure you go to the website to check out pictures of the objects too!
