Kara tells the life story of Fannie Lou Hamer, a leader in the civil rights movement who fought endlessly for the voting rights of black people in Mississippi in the 60's. Melissa tells the story of Misty Copeland, a trailblazing ballerina who made history as the first black female Principle Dancer within the prestigious American Ballet Theater.
