Biased and misleading
I was profoundly disappointed in the RFK Jr. episode. Diane typically has partisans on her show, but they are usually reasonable and relatively trustworthy. Dr. Grounder was neither. She deliberately misled on the concerning evidence linking lower levels of fluoridation to slowed brain development in children and on the side effects of the COVID vaccine. Furthermore, to focus exclusively on RFK’s most controversial theories while ignoring his excellent points about the terrible industrial food complex and the ties between government health agencies and pharma is the height of irresponsibility. Listeners who are interested in a more thoughtful and nuanced evaluation of RFK Jr.’s ideas might want to listen to the Nov. 21 episode of Today, Explained, also on NPR.
Diane is a National Treasure
Nov 3
I have listened to Diane Rehm since I moved to the Metro area in 1980. Twice, I actually managed to get through for comments/questions on the air (I.e., the good old days). Diane is unfailingly polite, fair and - dare I say it - balanced. I wept when she switched to the present format. She was such an important part of my day! So once a week is better than nothing, right? Being a senior citizen myself, I’m amazed she managed a daily show as long as she did. Diane, thanks so much for sharing your intellect, your gentleness and your curiosity with us all these years! You’re simply the best!
Glad to be back

I’ve recently started following Diane’s podcast. I kind of lost track of her after her regular NPR gig ended. That’s on me and I am so glad to be back to regular listening. Wonderful interview with Susan Glasser.
