Danielle, your podcasts have been inspirational to me!! I’ve been a big girl all my life and it has taken me all my life to feel good about being a larger woman, especially in todays society.
So the first thing out of my doctors mouth was - I need to lose weight, I thought to myself, today was not the day for that!! I told her “NO” my weight is not the only reason for my issues with respect to your medical degree. She stopped and looked at me and for the first time I felt she heard me, from that moment on I explained in detail what I felt and she explained her reasoning. I feel better as a larger woman about speaking out and speaking up and I really appreciate you! Thanks 😊
