Joel Embiid dropped a career-playoff high 50 POINTS as the 76ers beat the New York Knicks 125- 114, to now cut the next series lead to a 2 games to 1 advantage. Embiid was helped by 25 points from Tyrese Maxey and the best effort from their bench in the series. Through games 1 and 2, the Sixers bench scored a combined 17 points. Tonight, Philly’s bench scored 18!

Segment 1: THREE BIG THINGS: 1) Joel Embiid’s 50 point performance! First sixer to score 50 points in a playoff game since Allen Iverson in 2003.  2) Tyrese Maxey did his thing! 25points in the win! 3) The Bench and role players finally showed up! Big nights from Oubre and Cam Payne!

The 76ers fall into an 0-2 hole against the New York Knicks in their 1st round Eastern Conference playoff series.

The Knicks opened the 4th Quarter leading 79-74, before Tyrese Maxey almost Single handedly brought the Sixers back scoring 15 of his 35 points in the quarter. The all-star point guard helped his team open a 5-point lead with 47 seconds left in regulation.
