Unlearning to be more inclusive

Dr. Higgins brings career services professionals a podcast to talk about diversity and inclusion and equip professionals with info to unlearn assumptions to improve our practice to better serve and prepare students. If you’re not thinking about intersectionality of identities in your approach with students, this podcast will help you see how tailoring your approach can support students.

I particularly appreciate the episode about moving beyond a statement. Long-term action and accountability is what is needed to make system changes. She asks great questions that continues to challenge me to be a better professional.

I wished I had this as a resource earlier in my career! It’s never too late.
