Dr. Madson speaks with the Parkland boys' and girls' basketball coaches, as well as players Nick Coval, Talia Zurinskas, and Madison Siggins, about their remarkable seasons. During the interview, Dr. Madson highlighted the individual accomplishments of the players. Nick Coval surpassed the 2,000-point mark during the postseason. Both Talia Zurinskas and Madison Siggins reached the 1,000-point milestone during the regular season. The coaches and players reflected on their teams' success and the hard work that went into their impressive campaigns.

Lights, Camera, Action! The cast and crew and excited to open SpongeBob the Musical on the PHS stage on April 10, 2024! Dr. Madson speaks to SpongeBob, the Dance Captain, some characters, a student musician and the show's director who will get you excited to see the show and also learn about how these very talented students manage their school work in addition to putting in the hours that are necessary to put on a spring musical at PHS! This is a flagship program at Parkland and we are excited to take you behind the scenes of our theatre department.

Dr. Mark Madson sits down with new School Board Directors David Ellowitch and Chris Pirrotta. School Board Directors are elected officials who are not paid, but rather, volunteer their time to serve their local school community. As required by the Pennsylvania School Code, public school districts are governed by a School Board that is comprised of directors who serve terms. In compliance with state and federal laws, school boards establish policies and regulations by which their schools are governed.

Dr. Madson explores the 5th grade experience, which is the last year of elementary school within Parkland. Mr. Bartman, Principal of Parkway Manor, Yael Shimon, 5th grader in Mrs. King's class from Parkway Manor, Mrs. Aulisio, Principal at Kratzer, and Jaxon Kijak, 5th grader from Mr. Green's homeroom at Kratzer, open up about their 5th grade experience and thoughts about life beyond elementary school.

Dr. Mark Madson chats with Director of Business Administration Leslie Frisbie and School Board President Carol Facchiano about the complex budget planning process that includes local, state and federal funding sources. Both Leslie and Carol have accounting degrees and Leslie brings 16 years of experience to her role.
