The effectiveness of "the future of mobility" depends on standardization to some degree. Consumer and commercial adoption of something like electrification is more likely if crucial elements, like the charging network, have an element of universality. PIONIX, a German company with an open-source software stack, aims to establish de-facto standards for a unified EV charging ecosystem.
