E22: Andy Hogan Perspectives

Life has changed again for Andy Hogan as he finally is enjoying retirement. An educator after more than 30 years, his interests were long distance running, bow hunting and anything to do with Will Rogers. He still relates personally to the man he touted for years in his duties at the Claremore Will Rogers Memorial where from 2004 until 2022, he was the Museum's historical guide and Will Rogers' interpreter. After retiring from his education career, Hogan also helped open the Claremore Recreation Center in 1999 and worked there until joining the museum staff. He officiated football and basketball more than 40 years until retiring in 2007. He was inducted into the Greater Tulsa Officials Association Hall of Fame. He and his wire, Jan have four children and nine grandchildren.
