E24: A Chat with Dave Faulkner

If you are a history buff, you are going to love this "The MoH You Know" episode on many levels. Dave Faulkner was born in the Franklin Hospital in Claremore into a family with a long history of public service. His great-grandfather, Dave M. Faulkner served on the Cherokee Council and Senate and was sent to Congress as a Cherokee delegate. He was the last Assistant Chief of the Cherokees prior to Statehood. His grandfather, Dave J. Faulkner was a Rogers County Commissioner and a Rogers County Sheriff. Dave graduated from Claremore High School in1970, where he played baseball and basketball. He graduated from Oklahoma University in. 1975 and went into the oil and gas business. Later in 1992 he and his wife Mary purchased Rogers County Abstract, which they owned until September of 2020. Dave has served with numerous organizations and boards, including serving 29 years on the board of RCB Bank. He joined Warren Pixley as Co-Chair of the Claremore 2000 Committee, which spearheaded a successful election to change Claremore’s form of City Government, which still stands and was named Claremore’s Citizen of the Year in 1999.
