I am so thankful I found Bruce and Joy’s work!!! What they have uncovered and mined out in these main 7 passages are some of the most important work one can do for Christians. This is absolutely worth the listen. I appreciate the “bite sized” pieces of podcast to listen to so that I can really ruminate on these verses and what they mean. I’m excited to listen to more!!

I pray this translation work spreads far and wide and sets people free! So many puzzle pieces falling into place.

I have chafed under the teaching that women are subordinate to men for decades. I have even doubted my salvation because I was “disobedient”, feeling that God was displeased with me because I was in silent rebellion to His Word. Thank you for finally setting me free to be all that God intended me to be.

For so many years I felt like I was keeping a dirty secret by silently not swallowing the passages in Genesis and in Paul’s letters that apparently put women underneath men. They never sat right with me, and then I’d wonder that I was giving into my female inclination to subvert the authority of men as one interpretation of Eve’s “curse.” I finally feel I am not insane, and can fully see the goodness of God throughout the entirety of the scriptures. Thank you.
