I’ve listened to a few episodes of this podcast. It’s professionally made and typically enjoyable.
I listened to a recent episode between Stanton and another doctor talk about masks. I could not believe that the guest, presumably a respected doctor, compared wearing a mask to jock itch and of course we make people wear pants, we should make them wear a mask! That’s really the viewpoint we’re going to go with as it relates to our civil liberties and forced masking? Where’s the research on the dangers of wearing a mask? Of course we should make people wear pants, I really don’t know why that viewpoint could even be considered as apples to apples from two medical professionals. Came off very arrogant, as if your viewpoint is the obvious viewpoint and anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant/dumb.
That’s just my two sense; the episode echoed the news media, and it’s those ideology’s that could put people into fear, mask shame others, etc. what about grocery store attendants who readjust their mask, touch products, thereby exposing themself and others? As you alluded to in the podcast, it’s almost impossible to prevent exposure, so why are we looking at eradication of the virus rather than building immunity?
Thanks for the opportunity to review and keep up the (otherwise) good content.
