Great show, would love to see more interviews with utilities

I love hearing the many perspectives on the energy transition and really enjoy the show. I’d love to see y’all have more guests that are from the utilities, as they are the ones building out transmission lines, planning new generation, and operating our current generation. Hearing about those challenges first hand from the people working on them I think would be an interesting addition to the show.
Simplistic, Poor Takes and Information

Very pro renewable energy and green-tech group uninterested in considering the strengths of any conventional energy sources or facing the macroeconomics and implications of green-tech and renewables. These guys like to apply a TON of analogies as proof of their opinions and research. Very little substance or numbers behind the discussions found in this show. I found it particularly frustrating that the hosts tend to invoke successful small scale or consumer technology trends (albeit successful due to heavy government subsidization via tax incentives) as evidence that a technology will be efficient or economical at any scale. Additionally, on the topic of subsidies, they operate within a worldview where government subsidies for solar, batteries, and EV have no cost to households. Meanwhile, they believe that repealing government subsidies has a COST to households because they make renewables less economic. You can’t have it both ways. As one should know, subsidies result in inflation, which lowers your purchasing power, effectively the same as a tax. If you have zero grasp of economics or are a green energy sycophant, you will love this show and think the hosts are charming and brilliant. Otherwise, you will find yourself banging your head against the wall by the 15-minute mark.
Needs sound leveling

I appreciate this podcast and the guests that are invited to talk through various issues. The content quality is high. It is challenging to hear Ed (in terms of volume) sometimes and I think some simple post processing to level the voices could help.
Broad perspectives

I’m not in the energy business but I find it interesting to learn about since it affects my daily life. I really like Energy Gang for the broad perspectives they bring. Not just some far left or right ideologues …. There is pragmatism in the discussions. And I learn so much about emerging technologies. So thanks. Keep it up.
