Sarah Showalter is a certified personal trainer based out of Reading, PA and is also a certified running coach for Strides for Strength. She was in the restaurant industry for 18 years before she found her home in fitness and it's easily been the best 3 years of her life so far. Even though she's only been in the industry a short amount of time, she's dedicated to keeping herself educated because there is always something to learn and someone to learn from. At her time at the gym, Alliance Fitness Center, she's worked with people from all walks of life, from high school athletes to individuals that are 75 years old. Her favorite thing about training (especially newbies) is helping them prove to themselves how strong they really are. As a running coach, her two main things you'll always hear her talk about are running slow to run fast and lift heavy! She believes that both are the golden tickets to helping you have a long, badass career. When she's not running or at the gym, you'll find Sarah on adventures with her boyfriend and dog, Luna (she's obsessed with her dog), or reading a historical fiction novel.
