Ep 62: Hurricane Ida touches down, Boosie’s Breakfast Club appearance, 5-year anniversary of Colin Kaepernick’s protest, Dylan Roof’s execution upheld & more

The World At Large

This episode begins with a brief diatribe about Hurricane Ida which touched down in Louisiana a couple days ago. The storm brought historical winds and a torrential downpour.

Boosie sat down with The Breakfast Club for an interview regarding his most recent comments about one Lil Nas X. Que runs down the rapper’s comments and asks why is a platform like that giving oxygen to a known homophobe?

August 26 marked 5 years since Colin Kaepernick began his national anthem protest. Que takes the listeners down memory lane and recaps how Colin has gone on to become bigger off the field than he ever was on the field.

A federal court ruled in favor of upholding Dylan Roof’s execution. Que explains although people found cause for celebration he didn’t and why the death penalty must go.

Finally, the show is then closed out with, “The Last Call”.
