How do we protect our kids and address cyber safety in the digital age? Hear from former NCIS agent, Heather Ryan, as we discuss what cyber threats kids and parents are under and what tools parents can use to protect their kids.
Heather Ryan is a mom of 2 and former NCIS agent. During that time she served in five different duty stations and traveled the world investigating felonies ranging from sexual assault and narcotics to homicide and espionage. As an interrogator and hostage negotiator Heather learned first hand how the criminal mind operates and how the bad guys choose their victims. After years as a field agent, Heather became a Supervisory Special Agent managing a team of agents covering a ten state area of responsibility. After turning in her badge & gun, Heather founded Safe in the City. Now, instead of only reacting to crime, she has the opportunity to help prevent her audience members from becoming the next statistic. Her message is one of empowerment rather than of fear.
