EP21: The Bonebreaker

Transport yourself back to childhood for a moment and picture yourself asleep on the couch. The light from the TV is flickering behind your closed eyes and you're only vaguely aware, yet fully content with the fact that you're still on the couch rather than in your bed. Now imagine yourself being carried off the couch in the middle of the night by someone you assume to be your parent bringing you to your room, but then feel confused by the sudden and expected sight of outdoor surroundings.  With concern growing, you look up at the person carrying you to realize.....it's a complete stranger. And a sadistic, cruel, psychopathic one at that. 

This was the nightmarish reality that faced 13-year-old Thad Phillips in 1995 when he was abducted from his home in the middle of the night by one of the most depraved human beings to ever exist, Joe Clark. With a fetish for hearing the sound of bones cracking, Joe forced 13-year-old Thad to endure 43 hours of absolute hell so that he could indulge in his sick and twisted pleasure.
