This Whole Life
How does our mental health relate to our faith? How can we become whole while living in a broken world? Every day, we all strive to encounter God amidst the challenges of balancing faith and family, work and leisure, our sense of self and complicated relationships. Pat & Kenna Millea bring joy, hope, and wisdom to those who believe there *is* a connection between holiness and happiness. Kenna is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; Pat served for 15 years as a youth minister; together they have 7 children and a perfectly imperfect marriage. From their education and experience, they share tools, resources, interviews, and stories that point the way to sanity and sanctity. (Music: "You're Not Alone" by Marie Miller. Used with permission.)
Worth listening to more than once!

I am not a “podcast repeater” but I find these episodes so helpful and full that it’s probably the only one where I’ve listened to multiple episodes more than once! Great depth and things to ponder. And as I grow and change through the year, worth revisiting and gaining more from the episodes.
Postpartum episode was not helpful

Please spend time discussing postpartum mental health issues. The episode you did was not that helpful. There are better resources out there for help such as postpartum international.com. Not all Catholic women have easy pregnancies or postpartum periods and they need help.
Latest episode on superstition

Absolutely amazing episode. I stopped listening because I’m a widow and I wasn’t “hearing” anything for me. I saw you liked something from Bishop Barron and you liked his post and I like the name of your show. So here I am with gratitude for every word of this latest episode. Especially liked Father’s contribution. I started saying the rosary and realize I can’t miss a morning because there will be consequences.
Encouragement and support

This podcast has been so amazing! I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the topics, and how the hosts can relay very important and at times heavy topics in a way that I can connect with. The full integration of mind, body and spirit has been enormously encouraging to me on my own personal mental health journey. Their authentic Christian perspective of the whole person has allowed me to understand myself better, and my relationships with others. I talk about and share episodes frequently with family, friends and acquaintances. I look forward to many more, God-willing.
