Episode 1 - Keith’s Story - Co-occuring PTSD Part 2

Keith is a 24 year old man from San Diego, CA in recovery from a 7 year bout with addiction. Keiths primary drug of choice was Heroin however he abused an array of substances and suffers from co-occuring PTSD. Keith tells his inspiring story of turning his life around after growing up in a chaotic environment around addiction and as a victim to violence. He discusses what it was like for 3 years of his life in and out of the juvenile judicial system and group homes. In this portion of the episode Keith and I dive into what its been like for both of us living with PTSD while in Recovery. We discuss at length some of the coping skills we have gained and how we implement them into our day to day lives.
