You Pick Tonight

I love this podcast! Dan and Lyra are both smart and hilarious, and it's really interesting to hear their thoughtful and insightful takes on the movies they watch. Lyra is really knowledgeable about anime, a new genre for me, and in episode 2, she offers some really interesting context about the form, including things like the "sub vs. dub" debate. Fascinating! But I just love listening to these two talk; it could be about almost anything.

I listen to a Mom and Dad are Fighting and heard about Dan and his daughter podcast and is great ! Even when my sons are grown ups now I find that both podcasts teach me new things. Lyra is an intelligent teenager with a interesting prospective on movies ! Lovely father and daughter podcast.

Absolutely loving this new podcast, a fun and interesting take on movie reviews and criticism. The father/daughter hosts bring different perspectives and backgrounds to the films but share the same insightful, fresh, thoughtful approach to the movies they watch. And there’s the added plus that both of them are really funny and entertaining, so you just want to hang out and listen in. Been a fan of Dan for years - now pleased to say I’m a huge fan of his daughter too, Lyra makes a great co-host!
