Maya Sanchez was the first Mayor of the City of San Elizario, serving for four years, followed by an additional five years as City Administrator. She continues to be a great example in the border community continuing her passions for public service, with a focus on local and state governance, sustainable agriculture and economic development. She also hopes to be a farmer one day!
