Thomas Lecaque is an associate professor of History at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. He specializes in the nexus of apocalyptic religion and political violence. John Wyatt Greenlee is a medievalist and a cartographic historian.His academic research is primarily driven by questions of how people perceive and reproduce their spaces: how movement through the world — both experiential and imagined — becomes codified in visual and written maps.
