In this episode Stacie is joined by Mario Perez, a pioneer and a trailblazer in the world of clinical documentation improvement. During his esteemed career he has done much to elevate the profile of HIM professionals within the CDI world.  

In part one of of the interview, Mario shares his journey of how he forged his own pathway creating opportunities for himself in the ever evolving field of HIM and encourages other young professionals to do the same.  His career path is truly inspiring!
