Dr. Gerard Farris, a graduate of the LSU School of Medicine, completed his Residency in

Emergency Medicine at LSU. He is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician and

a Fellow of American College of Physicians. He has also worked as an advisor/researcher

for Appalachian State Human Performance lab at the North Carolina Research Center in

Kannapolis. Dr. Farris continued his studies and is one of the only Physicians in Cabarrus

County who is Board Certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.

Practicing Emergency Medicine for over 24 years, Dr. Farris has always had an interest in

age management, nutrition and weight loss. He has seen the impact of disease on

individuals and families. Far too long, medicine has treated the symptoms of disease

without getting to the root of the problem.

For the past 30 years, Dr. Farris has also been a competitive triathlete. His

accomplishments include completion of over 300 races including 4 Ironman distance

competitions, 50 Adventure Races and 13 Marathons. He’s been a member of Team USA

Long Course Triathlon Team racing in 3 World Championships. He has also served as a

physician for Team USA.

As an aging athlete, he recognized the need to educate himself in nutrition,

supplementation and hormone restoration to achieve peak results. Dr. Farris’ passion for

age management led him to the field of Functional and Integrative Medicine. His

Functional Medicine training allows him to treat the root cause of the diseases impacting

so many people today. Now patients can actively participate in their own healthcare and

change their lives for the better.

Dr. Farris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Huntersville/Concord area.

His goal is to provide access to the best in scientific knowledge and medicine so his clients

can achieve optimal outcomes.
