    How are we already at 50 episodes? We are beyond grateful for our friends and listeners, who have championed us to keep going and creating content and bringing you the conversations you are excited to hear! Today's another fun musing conversation where Erica and Mike chat about their recent trip to Winston Salem, NC to see Goose for their Western NC benefit concert. We got to share the excitement and joy with some of our friends and got to connect with the team at Conscious Alliance (the amazing non-profit that bridges art and philanthropy), get some cool fan-made merch from the "Seekers on the Ridge" Vendor Market at Fiddlin' Fish Brewery. We chat about where we are headed: 3 night run in Cincinatti, OH for Goose, 2 night run for DMB at MSG, 1 benefit concert "Soulshine" in MSG, and 2 nights at Goosemas! We can't wait to see you on the road.

    Episode 49: Autumn Crossing

    It's the quiet time between the busy-ness and music of summer, and the lull before the crispy air and fall tour season. Mike and Erica chat all things end of summer tour, some September events (including our universally guided meet up with the band members of Goose), some upcoming excitement about fall and winter tour dates and some "recent acquisitions" to our poster collection. This is an exciting time of year where we are jazzed about seeing some music, meeting up with friends and seeing what new art we will be able to scoop! Huge shout out to some of our amazing friends and other podcasts over at The Slow Ready Podcast and The Pod that Jane Likes (both can be found wherever you listen to podcasts). If you haven't gotten into the band Goose, highly recommend starting with their album entitled "Dripfield", and go from there.     Episode 48: I'm Blown Away because we are overjoyed to be able to deep dive on one of the most unique diptych pieces done for the Dave Matthews Band! Today's episode, we are reviewing the 2 night poster set by artists (yes, plural) Todd Slater and Ben Kwok (aka Bioworkz) for the shows at Fiddler's Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village, CO. This was the first artist collaboration for the Dave Matthews Band- and it was EPIC. Not only do Mike and Erica review the posters, we had a special guest join the podcast... Mr. Todd Slater himself! We chat briefly about the incredible collab by Todd Slater and Ben Kwok from Fiddler's Green in Colorado, the new artist Kathleen Neeley from Bend, Oregon... and what's speculating for the amazing Gorge weekend.     Today we get to chat all things art and energy with Owen Murphy from One Drop Design Studio! We are super excited to share this conversation with you where we get to drop into the world that Owen has created within his gig poster portfolio. Owen has created great works for bands such as Dave Matthews Band, Dead & Co, Billy Strings, Widespread Panic, Greensky Bluegrass (and more)! Check out our previous Episode 15 for a deep dive on Owen's "Dreamgirl" poster from Merriweather Pavilon in 2023! Owen's world of art is diverse and ethereal- and inspiration comes from things around him, and from the depths of his creative unseen realm!     We're BACK! Today we're super excited to review the newest poster in our collection from the Goose the Band concert on June 23, 2024 in Charlotte, NC at the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheater. We had a wonderful time with friends and Goose that beautiful (and HOT) evening in NC! Today we are doing a deep dive on the gig poster by the artist Jake Rathkamp aka The Graphite Club. This new artists WOWED us with the unique imagery and ties to Charlotte (aka The Queen City). Courtney joined us today and shared her incredible story and rise to becoming a full-time poster gig artist! Courtney's story is one about tenacity, grit and passion! As so many artists are out there, working towards bringing their art to life and we as poster collectors hope to see more of her work from the bands we love! Courtney's done work for incredible bands such as My Morning Jacket, Trey Anastasio and Classic TAB, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Umphrey's McGee!
