This series is well done! Growing up in Gresham, I worked in the berry fields of several Japanese families. Now I wish I had asked them about their experiences.
Great Local History

Strong research and so engaging. Thank you for including the actual Voices of the individuals who endured these events. This podcast is an absolute GEM.
A must listen for Oregonians!

This podcast is fantastic. I love hearing the audio clips and testimonials from people who vividly recount the tone and attitudes of the community during such a shameful time in our country and state’s history. The stories are beautifully told and as the listener, I feel like I’m getting an intimate look at the Japanese American experience. I also recommend checking out the Gresham Historical Society’s website! I love seeing some of the old pics and archives!
