Heidi and I met through LinkedIn. Her background resonated with me because I was the Commander in charge of the Southern AZ Human Trafficking Task Force for a brief time. She spent a large part of her career battling human and sex trafficking. Now that she's retired, she travels the US providing training to law enforcement agencies on how to detect the signs of and combat human trafficking. We met for the first time when she walked through the door, had a great time getting to know each other and her episode, her story, is very unique...just like so many of my guests.
