    Dave catches up with Paul Marto of Martography -- Fine Art Wildlife Prints, Note Cards and Calendars Paul has been passionate about photography since the early 1980's. Nature, wildlife and action shots are his favorites and he loves the challenge that arises from the unpredictability of his subjects when he is trying to capture the perfect wildlife moment. He is a native of California and has spent the last twenty-eight years in Orange County. Paul grew up in Carmel Valley, so it is no surprise that he gravitated towards wildlife photography. Mountain bike riding, hiking, tennis and playing the electric guitar round out the list of pursuits for this U.C. San Diego graduate. He has a beautiful wife and two adorable children. Through his photography, Paul is trying to bring awareness to the abundant collection of wildlife that cohabit the Orange County area. He believes that the more we know about these amazing animals and their requirements, the better prepared we will be to live a peaceful coexistence with them. He strives to present brilliant photographs of these wonderful creatures, large and small, in a way that will both inspire and educate.     Accasia Martinez – Owner & Operator of Accasia’s Event Venue since July 2021 Wife to Fernando Martinez for over 27 years and mother of 3 – Patrick 26 yrs old, Ryan who will be 21 in August and Ashley 14yrs old.   Born in New York and raised in the Dominican Republic.  Holds an Associate degree in Business Administration, has experience as an Executive Assistant, Human Resources Generalist, Compensation Analyst, Sales Analyst, Marketing & over 18 years of experience in Corporate Event Planning for companies like AIG, Liberty Mutual, Sol de Plata, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Philip Morris, Frito Lay & PepsiCo Foodservice.   The bond with her family and the relationships she builds with people is the most important thing to her.  So after planning events for over 18 years, for both corporate employers and personal connections, she has taken a leap of faith and started our own venue & planning services.   Accasia hopes that her venue can serve as the stage to many celebrations and gatherings that bring people together to create lasting memories & relationships.

    The Collin County Historical Commission (CCHC) is the official local arm of the Texas Historical Commission. It receives Collin County funding to serve as the umbrella organization for all historical preservation and education groups within the county. The commission currently has twenty members nominated by the members of the Commissioners Court and representing all four quadrants of Collin County. The commission holds regular meetings on the last Thursday of each month, beginning at 4 pm (except when Thanksgiving falls on the last Thursday, then we move to the first Thursday of December).
