Very Moving Podcast-

This is beautiful...the host has an amazing voice, she is thorough and she comes to the interview with wonderfully thought out questions for each episode's guest. This is a must have in your podcast library!

5 a.m. call….

Pornography of children is the worst: Vile, dark, violent, and the most evil form of pornography. The images of innocents being used in the most debased way is criminal. 10 years of probation? You’ve got to be kidding. One can only wonder if it had been HER child that was used for sickening sexual pleasure by strange men all over the globe, her choice might have been different?
How a mother could allow her husband to be allowed to be back into the family again, in her bed, is beyond the line in the sand. No amount of therapy can "fix" this particular addiction.
Having a decades-long user of child porn in the same house as your growing children is a risk no one should take. He didn’t have an affair. He had an all-consuming need that took him away from his wife and children for DECADES, that was child pornography. That was a choice. He was caught.
I am thankful he is remorseful.
It was a very strange and odd podcast.
I can only hope that there is not another 5 a.m. call.

Re: 5:00 am call

I cringed each time the interview subject referred to child sex abuse material as “illegal pornography.” That’s a euphemism that minimizes the horror inherent in CASM.
I admire the bravery of speaking publicly, but using words that mask and sugarcoat reality is almost deceptive.
