The spread of misinformation is a problem and it’s helping to divide a nation but the bigger and more chilling problem (that you’ve chosen to overlook because you’re a partisan hack) is govt suppressing important facts that could sway an election such as the Hunter Biden laptop. We now know clearly that the FBI pressured Twitter Facebook and other to suppress the story and even called it “Russian disinformation” to help a flawed candidate get elected. that was a blatant lie. The US Gov and social media are colluding and to control the narrative. The bigger “threat to our democracy” is Suppression or free speech and the first amendment
