Don’t we need a quarterback who can emotionally fire up the team?? One who can lead with energy and intensity and confidence?? Kyle McCord is so flat, so unemotional, that he is not the person. What did he say to the team before the game to inspire the team? “Don’t make mistakes (4 times)”.
Not the way to inspire a team!!!
Plus Ryan Day coaches tight. The intangibles aren’t there and they are SO important in firing up the team!!!!! Way too measured.
Great Podcast to get your Buckeye fix.
These guys flow. They are very knowledgeable on all things Ohio State. I travel a lot, and it’s a great podcast to stay up to date on what’s happening. I would love to hear the host’s opinions on if Ryan Day does his backup quarterback a disservice each season by limiting what he can do when he gets in a game. When Kyle McCord did get in last year everyone including the officials knew it was going to be a hand off. I know Day is trying not to run it up, but I do think it limits development.
A modest proposal
Hi Tony and Tom! Love the show. Have to say, your take on Kyle McCord being the starting quarterback is contrary to what other beat reporters are saying. Devin Brown has been the clear leader over the last two weeks.
