E012 - Chancellor Pat Gallagher
Today I am here with the University of Pittsburgh’s 18th chancellor, Pat Gallagher. He oversees a community of more than 34,000 students and 13,000 faculty and staff members across five distinct campuses, all working to advance Pitt’s mission to make the world a better place through knowledge, learning and scholarship. Chancellor Gallagher holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and philosophy from Benedictine College in Kansas and a PhD in physics from the University of Pittsburgh. I might be bias, but today's episode is definitely a good one.

E011 - Ryan Philips
Today I am here with the super insightful, former Microsoft employee turned Entrepreneur in Residence, Ryan Philips. I met Ryan as a University Innovation Fellow back in early 2017 and caught up for the first time since then here on episode 11. I am excited to have Ryan on the podcast to discuss career moves, the balance between a deep understanding of one topic in comparison to a shallow understanding of many topics, and the transition between a hobby and a hobby that makes you money and so much more. Can’t wait for you to hear Ryan drop some knowledge on today’s episode.

On this episode we talk about our first impressions of silicon valley, the nuances within startups in 2018, the mentality of industry game changers, and so much more. You’re not going to want to miss this one.
