Episode 48: Abraham Lincoln in Gettysburg - November 18-19, 1863 with Tim Smith
In September 2023, The Adams County Historical Society hosted a special live recording of the show. Eric, Jim, and Jody were joined by Historian and Licensed Battlefield Guide Tim Smith and a lively crowd of Superfans. The topic that evening was Abraham Lincoln's visit to Gettysburg which lasted just 25 hours spanning November 18 - 19, 1863. In this episode, Lincoln's time in Gettysburg is discussed as well as many of the myths that surround one of the most famous events in United States history.

I am late finding this podcast but am glad I did. Jim and Eric are excellent engaging historians, presenting the material in an easy to listen to, easy to understand format Best of all, they get you thinking about the entire Gettysburg campaign and make you think about what you know and challenge you to look at the events in a different light

This is my favorite podcast! James and Eric bring such passion and knowledge while explaining the fine details of the epic battle that took place in July, 1863. They make learning about history fun and entertaining. Keep up the great work!
